EN531 Heat Protection

En531 is the standard for heat protection, clothing designed specifically to protect industry workers against contract from flames, as well as any heat which may emanate from the source. En531 is a standard which ultimately determines the flame propagation limit of applicable fabrics, tested with direct exposure for ten seconds to a naked flame, and noting the results across several parameters which make up the grading system for Heat protective workwear.
