Sweaters Buying Guide
There are many types of sweaters to consider when looking for new work clothes, think of the most suitable style for your profession such as; hooded sweatshirts, hi-vis, knitted jumpers, pullover or zip front; maybe your just looking for a regular sweater either way you will find a good selection here at Mammoth. We have created this easy to follow guide to raise a few questions for you to consider before buying a new work sweater and hopefully to answer them questions precisely.
Safety should always be the top priority so do consider the specifications required for your particular trade. EN or European Normalisation specifies the exact requirements you need for any particular environment. These are in place to primarily protect workers and those around them. Consider what safety spec your sweater should be e.g. road workers would wear high visibility to allow them to be seen much more easily; a welder would wear a flame retardant sweater to protect from molten metal splash etc. Safety specification requirements are recognised by numbers such as; EN471 which refers to the protection level given to high visibility clothing.
Comfort & Practicality
It's important to stay comfortable at work and in doing so your working day is a much happier one, consider your options ask yourself what is more suitable for you, such as; a padded or lined sweater for working in cold environments or maybe a thinner type for working in heat. Ensure you think of the practical side of things like would a hood or a chest pocket be helpful.
Colour and Uniformity
You may require your work sweater to match your company's colours or uniform, in many cases we can supply an entire colour coordinated uniform complete with shirt, polo shirt, trousers or work jacket. All of these garments can be embroidered or printed to give that professional finish. If these options are available you will see more information in the product description details or simply contact us via email or phone if you have specific requirements.
Price and Style
As with every purchase; price and style are often the two most contributing factors in your final decision to buy. The best advice is don't go for the cheapest simply because it is cheap, you may find that while one product is cheap the other will last much longer so technically the slightly more pricier option may in fact provide the best value for money, value for money is the most important part when working from a budget. We have many styles of work sweater from hoody varieties to hi-vis and regular types in many colours and sizes for men women and children, something for everyone.
