The A2P3R filter is designed to give the wearer protection against organic vapours and gasses caused from solvents created by materials such as varnishes, adhesives and paints. The particulate filter (P3), provides the wearer with further protection against harmful and carcinogenic dusts, fumes and aerosols based on water and oil, which can be found when working alongside highly toxic metals, hardwood, radioactive and biochemical active substances, as well as oil mists and the welding of stainless steel.
