Where a lined jacket may be too heavy, this shirt is a light 9 oz, and made of 100% cotton canvas, with ring-spun cotton flannel lining providing additional warmth and cosiness. While the material is garment washed for a soft, smooth finish, the Carhartt Ladies Canvas Work Shirt makes no bones about its toughness - it is proudly made to last. Side-seamed construction minimises twisting in the fabric, whilst the side vents sport twill-tape trim. A spade-shaped yoke appears on the back, and spade-shaped flaps with snap closures feature on the front chest pockets. The placket, meanwhile, is snap-front and allows breathing room for the neck. The identifiable Carhartt label is sewn discretely onto the hem, and the shirt's main seams are strictly triple-stitched for heightened durability. In the interests of a premium fit, this shirt is also tailored especially for a women’s figure, with its posterior princess seams giving it a unique edge.
